Mavs Anticipating a High Energy Crowd for Home Games
The Dallas Mavericks completed their victorious first-round series sweep of the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night in Minneapolis and will return home to host the Oklahoma City Thunder in Games 3 and 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals. The series is tied 1-1 after the teams split the first two games in Oklahoma City.
Game 3 is set for Tuesday, May 7, with a tip-off time of 8:30 p.m. CT. Game 4 is scheduled for Thursday, May 9 at 9:00 p.m. CT. Both games will be played at American Airlines Center.
Mavs fans are expected to provide a raucous home-court advantage for the team, as they did in the first round against the Timberwolves. The Mavs have won 11 of their last 12 home playoff games, dating back to the 2022 Western Conference Finals.
"We're excited to be back home in front of our fans," said Mavs coach Jason Kidd. "They've been incredible all season long, and we're going to need them to be even louder and more supportive in this series."
